HISTORY

Established..

Our Agency was founded in 1952 by Royal F. Koch. The office has always been located in Tyndall on Main Street. As the Agency grew, the office moved to larger quarters to serve the customers and has been at the present location since 1982.

Changes..

In 1983, R. Martin Koch joined his father in the business. Lake City Insurance in Springfield was purchased in 1986 and the Tabor office was established in 1988. The Yankton office was established in 2008.

Growth........

Royal F. Koch Agency has seven licensed agents to serve clients. Royal F. Koch and R. Martin Koch were joined by Coleta B. Koch, Kim L. Bierema, John Bentzen, Michele L Tycz and Darla M. Bachmann. Joyce M. Sestak at the Tabor office and Joanne Dvoracek in Tyndall serve as personal account assistants to our insureds.

All four of the offices are automated with the latest in technology.
